Gambling guide

Dota Underlords is designed as an auto battler, and competitive strategy game inspired by the classic game of chess. In Underlords, players place characters called heroes on an 8×8 grid-shaped battlefield where the game takes place.  After a training process, the heroes of a team battle the opposing team automatically without direct feedback from the player. A game features up to eight online players who take turns playing in a one-on-one format against each other.

In Underlords, the winner becomes the last player standing after removing all the opposing heroes. In addition to online matchmaking, bots are also used in single-player matches, as well as a “freestyle” practice mode. The practice mode places no restrictions on combinations of heroes. Players gain gold and experience points during a match, which are used to enhance heroes to make them more effective.

Underlords gameplay is easy and best played after practice.

Underlords Tournaments and Events

Later in 2019 at the Barclaycard Arena, ESL One Hamburg played host to the first Dota Underlords event.

For all fans who attended the live event, the tournament featured a €5,000 (£4,400) prize pool and free registration. This event is the first offline spin-off tournament for Valve’s Auto Chess.

The main event for ESL One Hamburg kicked off from 25 to 27 of October 2019. The event had a prize pool of $300,000 (£235,000). The event got funding from the regular sprinkling of ESL partners, including Mercedes-Benz, Vodafone, DHL, Intel, and ROG.  A total of 12 teams were present to battle it out for the award.

Prior to the first Underlords physical tournament, there had been a couple of virtual tournaments for this interesting esport.  Those who wish to bet on Underlords are at liberty to do so when there is a competition or tournament.

Underlord Betting Types

Betting on Underlords is possible, but not as common as betting on other esports at the moment. This is because most of the competitions for Underlords are not world tournaments, take place anytime. Players can choose to compete and bet on Underlords based on their gameplay for now. While some bookmarkers claim to offer betting options for Underlords, it’s not wise to expect the most at this time.

When betting on Underlords becomes possible during subsequent tournaments, below are some likely betting markets:

Match winner bet

This method of Underlords betting requires you to predict one team to emerge victorious in a specific match.

Outright winner bet

With tournaments becoming a reality in Underlords, there is room for the outright winner bet. The outright winner Underlords betting options requires betting on one team to win the overall tournament.

Unique Bets Associated with Underlords

There are no special Underlords betting options currently. However, as the game becomes more accepted and famous as an esport, there may be some innovative, unique betting options.

If you wish to bet on Underlords, you may consider waiting till there is a world tournament. That way, you can better explore the betting market and increase your winning chances.

Available Underlords variants

Underlords is still pretty new, so there are not variants yet. With the design and gameplay of the present version, one can tell there is room for improvement. However, those improvements may come as upgrades rather than new versions. Who knows, we just may be shocked by more thrilling versions in the near future.

Conclusion: Be a part of the excitement

Underlords can easily become a favourite once you start playing with the free-play mode. The best part about betting on Underlords is that you can play against a bot as you practice. This makes you get more acquainted with the game and understand how it works and how to bet. There are competitions for Underlords  in various parts of the world almost every day.

Let nothing hold you back from betting on Underlords now.
